I'm Going to India!
I just received the news that I was awarded one of the Lilly Teacher Creativity Endowments. I will probably leave in mid-June and I will be there for 6 weeks. I can't believe it, but it's true! Needless to say, I'll be writing about my preparations for the trip (and eventually the trip itself).

Gloria, that's fabulous! Congratulations.
I will be staying at an Ashram in Kerala (state on the southwestern edge of India). An Ashram has a guru who is usually what attracts people, but I am not so interested in Amma (the guru) as I am in just having a peaceful place to meditate and find my center.
