Headaches

I've been getting these horrible headaches almost everyday the last couple of weeks. They usually start in the afternoon and last for a hours (even after I take Aleve). I know it is mainly to do with clenching my jaw at night, but I've done this for years. Why am I now having such bad headaches so regularly? And why are they suddenly resistant to the pain reliever that I've always relied on?

They wear me out and make me really grouchy!

This headache thing seems to be going around. I wonder if allergies have anything to do with it. Everything is blooming now.

i get them too. i always thought that is how i deal with stress. maybe the stress of knowing you are laving for this amazing trip, plus wrapping everything up with the school year is getting to you.....

Yeah, I think both allergies and stress are playing a part. That might be why they are so bad right now.

Good news is right now I don't have one and haven't had one all day.

Sunday night I was almost killed by one. Have you tried taking sinus meds? Like Tylenol Sinus, Clariton, etc? I usually take one of those and then a few Ibuoprofen too. I'm sort of immune to medicine, though and am not afraid to take a lot.

If you're carrying a lot of stress in your shoulders, neck, etc., see if your dr. can prescribe you a muscle relaxant. Flexeril is one that works wonders. :)
